Vermont Homecare United Contract Survey

Our statewide contract for home health workers expires soon, so we are going back to the bargaining table to fight for better wages and working conditions!

This fall, our union will enter into negotiations with the State of Vermont over the minimum rate of pay, educational opportunities, paid time off, and other important issues that direct service providers face in our daily work.  

By working together in our union, we have the opportunity to use our collective voice to raise standards for our profession and improve the quality of services our clients rely on us for. 

To prepare for the negotiations, we are asking providers to participate in our bargaining survey. The survey is a tool we use to set our priorities, generate proposals, and identify stories that highlight the need for improvements. The survey takes less than 10 minutes, and each participant will be entered into a raffle. The deadline for the survey is October 15th.
